[News] Numabookcat

numabooks × NAMによる移動式本屋の新作
「Numabookcat」が
NADiff Window Galleryにオープンしました。

これは、numabooks × NAMによるグラフィック作品であると共に実際に購入できる本屋です。

本とアイデアのレーベル「numabooks」と、グラフィック／アートコレクティブ「NAM」のコラボレーションによる

移動式本屋シリーズ第二弾「Numabookcat」。

PUBLIC/IMAGE3D.にて行われたNAMの個展「A FANTASY IN LIFE」にて発表し、

その後IID世田谷ものづくり学校エントランスに巡回した「NUMABOOKFACE」シリーズの新作です。

積まれている文庫本はすべて販売していますが、購入していただく本は購入者が選ぶのではなく、

「あなたのことを教えてください」という質問への回答をもとに、購入者をイメージしながら

numabooksが選書し、後日郵送にて発送させていただきます。

選書販売価格：12冊セット／¥4200　税+送料込　(一ヶ月に一冊の一年分セットです)

The mobile bookshop by numabooks x NAM "Numabookcat" is now on display at NADiff window gallery in Ebisu, Tokyo.

This is a bookshop you can actually purchase from the display, as well as a graphic work.

The second work of mobile bookshop series by a book/idea label 'numabooks' and a graphic/art collective NAM is "Numabookcat".

This is a new work from "NUMABOOKFACE" series, first introduced at the solo exhibition by NAM "A FANTASY IN LIFE" at PUBLIC/IMAGE3D. and at Ikejiri Institute of Design in Tokyo.

Even though the paperbacks are for sale, it is not the customer who chooses which to purchase. 'numabooks' will select the perfect books for each customer, from the answer he/she gave us, for the question "tell us about yourself".

[News] 装苑 2011年10月号

現在発売中の「装苑」10月号にて、吉田ユニ×NAM - 75 Years of Girlsという企画で、吉田ユニさんとコラボ制作させて頂きました！1300冊の装苑を使用した壮大かつシュールな傑作ビジュアルになりました！メイキングはこちら。とても楽しい制作現場でした。

We've collaborated with Yuni Yoshida on "Yuni Yoshida x NAM - 75 Years of Girls" for "so-en" magazine October issue that is now in store. It came out to be an imposing and surrealistic masterpiece using 1300 copies of the magazine! Here is the off-shots. We had a great fun at the shooting.

[News] DREAMS COME TRUE WONDERLAND 2011

ドリカムの4年に1度だけおこなわれる祭典、「史上最強の移動遊園地 DREAMS COME TRUE WONDERLAND 2011」のオフィシャルツアーブックの巻頭ビジュアルを手がけました。ここではお見せ出来ないのですが、その中の宙に浮かぶ人力リボンタイポグラフィは大変だったけど、とても気に入っている作品です。是非会場またはオフィシャルサイトにてご購入出来ますので、見て頂けたら嬉しいです。ツアーブックのADは浜田武士さん。150ページ／オールカラーで撮影メイキングのDVDも付属している豪華仕様です。

We did the opening pages for the official tour book of "DREAMS COME TRUE WONDERLAND 2011" which is the festival held every 4 years by Dreams Come True. It wasn't easy to create the ribbon typography floating in the air but I love the outcome. It will be great if you could take a look at the venue or you can purchase it from their official website. The AD was Takeshi Hamada, and this full colour, 150 page book comes with the DVD of off-shots of the shooting. Extravagant!

[News] NUMABOOKFACE会期延長のお知らせ

現在、世田谷ものづくり学校エントランスにて展示されております、本とアイデアのレーベル「numabooks」とのコラボレーションによる移動式本屋「NUMABOOKFACE」の会期が、好評につき2週間延長されることになりました。8月14日（日）まで展示されます。見逃した方は是非、この機会に巨大な本の顔と対面してみて下さい。

We're grateful that our "NUMABOOKFACE", the mobile bookshop with the book/idea label 'numabooks' that is being shown at the entrance of IID Ikejiri Institute of Design in Tokyo will stay for 2 more weeks, until Sunday 14th August. If you haven't seen it yet, please don't miss this chance to meet the huge face of books.

イギリスの出版社 Future Publishing Limited から出版されたフォトショップの専門誌『Practical Photoshop』Issue 2に伊坂幸太郎さんの『SOSの猿』のカバービジュアルでのポストプロダクションの過程を掲載していただきました。
